Features & Key Specifications of Our LPLF Series:
Space-Saving 90-Degree Design:
The female elbow configuration allows tubing to exit at a right angle from a male port, perfect for creating neat, compact, and kink-free tube routing.
Standard External Hex for Easy Installation:
The hexagonal body is designed for a secure grip with a standard wrench, allowing for proper and easy tightening onto any male thread.
Universal Thread Availability (NPT, BSPP, BSPT):
To ensure global compatibility, all our LPLF fittings are available in the three major international standards: NPT, BSPP (G), and BSPT (R/PT).
Instant Push-to-Connect Design:
Simply push the nylon or polyurethane tube into the fitting for an immediate, secure, and leak-proof seal.
Full Range of Metric & Imperial Sizes:
We offer a complete selection of sizes, connecting metric tubing from 4mm to 12mm and imperial tubing to a full range of female thread sizes.
Customization and OEM Options:
We offer custom colors for the release sleeve and can feature your company logo on the fittings to meet your OEM requirements (subject to MOQ).
Application Fields
The Standard Connector for Angled Female Connections:
Filter-Regulator-Lubricator (FRL) Units: Connecting tubing at a 90-degree angle to the male-threaded outlet ports of FRLs.
Pressure Gauges & Sensors: Allows for mounting a gauge flat against a panel while the tubing runs neatly downwards or sideways.
Bulkhead Connections: Creating a clean, angled connection on the exterior of a control panel or machine housing.
General Pneumatic Circuits: A versatile fitting for any point where a tube needs to connect to a male thread at a right angle.
Technical & Selection Guide
When to Use a Female Elbow (LPLF) vs. a Male Elbow (LPL)?
The choice depends on the port you are connecting to:
Use a FEMALE Elbow (this LPLF series) when the device or port you are connecting to has male (external) threads.
Use a MALE Elbow (like our LPL series) when the device or port you are connecting to has female (internal) threads.
FAQ
Frequently Asked questions
Q: What does "PLF 06-02G" mean?
A: This is a standard industry code. "PLF" indicates a Female Elbow. "06" means it is for 6mm OD tubing. "02" means the thread is 1/4". The "G" suffix specifies that the thread type is BSPP (G).
Q: I need NPT threads for my application. Are these available?
A: Yes. All our threaded push-in fittings, including the LPLF series, are available with NPT threads, as well as BSPP (G) and BSPT (R/PT), to cover all global standards.
Q: Does this fitting swivel?
A: No, the LPLF is a fixed female elbow. For a swivel function, you would typically use a male swivel elbow (like our LPL series) threaded into a female straight fitting (like our LPCF series).
