Features & Key Specifications of Our LPB Series:
360° Swivel Body for Easy Installation:
The swivel tee design allows the body of the fitting to rotate freely around the threaded stud. This allows you to tighten the thread first, then easily align the two tubing connections for the cleanest routing.
Efficient T-Shape Distribution:
The tee configuration provides an efficient way to supply air to two different locations from a single port, or to branch off from a main line.
Universal Thread Availability (NPT, BSPP, BSPT):
To ensure global compatibility, all our LPB fittings are available in the three major international standards: NPT, BSPP (G), and BSPT (R/PT).
Instant Push-to-Connect Design:
Simply push the nylon or polyurethane tube into the two ports for an immediate, secure, and leak-proof seal.
Full Range of Metric & Imperial Sizes:
We offer a complete selection of sizes, connecting metric tubing from 4mm to 16mm and imperial tubing to a full range of thread sizes.
Customization and OEM Options:
We offer custom colors for the release sleeve and can feature your company logo on the fittings to meet your OEM requirements (subject to MOQ).
Application Fields
The Standard Connector for Splitting Air Lines:
Cylinder Connections: Supplying air to both ports of a double-acting cylinder from a single-direction control valve.
Valve & Manifold Plumbing: Branching a single air supply line to power multiple valves on a valve bank.
Branching Main Air Lines: Tapping into a main air line to supply a drop for a workstation or individual machine.
Robotics & Automation: Creating compact and organized air distribution on robotic arms and automated equipment.
Technical & Selection Guide
Male Run Tee vs. Male Branch Tee
It's important to know the difference:
Male Run Tee (this LPB series): The male thread is in the center, in line with the "run" of the two tube connections. This is used to tap into a port and split the flow.
Male Branch Tee: The male thread is on one of the ends of the run, with the second tube connection branching off at 90 degrees.
The swivel design of our LPB Male Run Tee makes it incredibly versatile and easy to install in any orientation.
FAQ
Frequently Asked questions
Q: What does "PB 08-02" mean?
A: This is a standard industry code. "PB" indicates a Male Run Tee. "08" means it is for 8mm OD tubing on both push-in ports. "02" means the thread is 1/4".
Q: Does the fitting swivel under pressure?
A: No. The swivel function is designed for easy positioning during installation. Once the system is pressurized, the fitting is designed to remain in its set position.
Q: I need NPT threads for my application. Are these available?
A: Yes, absolutely. All our threaded push-in fittings, including the LPB series, are available with NPT threads, as well as BSPP (G) and BSPT (R/PT).
