Features & Key Specifications of Our LPH Series:
Low-Profile Banjo Design:
The key advantage of the banjo elbow is its compact, low-profile design, which drastically reduces the overall height of the connection compared to a standard male elbow.
360° Swivel for Full Orientation:
The banjo body can be rotated a full 360 degrees around the banjo bolt, allowing you to position the tubing exit at any angle with ease before the final tightening.
Universal Thread Availability (NPT, BSPP, BSPT):
To ensure global compatibility, all our LPH fittings are available in the three major international standards: NPT, BSPP (G), and BSPT (R/PT).
Instant Push-to-Connect Design:
Simply push the nylon or polyurethane tube into the fitting for an immediate, secure, and leak-proof seal.
Full Range of Metric & Imperial Sizes:
We offer a complete selection of sizes, connecting metric tubing from 4mm to 12mm and imperial tubing to a full range of thread sizes from M5 to 1/2".
Application Fields
Valve & Manifold Blocks: The ideal fitting for crowded valve banks where standard elbows are too tall.
Compact Cylinders: Perfect for use on small cylinders or actuators with limited space around the ports.
Robotics & Automation: Designing extremely compact and flexible pneumatic circuits on robotic arms.
Control Cabinets: Routing tubing in tight corners and against panels where space is at a premium.
Technical & Selection Guide
Banjo Elbow (LPH) vs. Male Elbow (LPL):
Choose a Banjo Elbow (LPH) when vertical height is your main concern. Its flat design is unbeatable for low-profile connections.
Choose a Male Elbow (LPL) for general-purpose 90-degree connections where vertical space is not as restricted.
FAQ
Frequently Asked questions
Q: What is a banjo fitting?
A: A banjo fitting consists of a perforated hollow bolt (the banjo bolt) and a spherical union. It allows fluid to pass through the bolt at a 90-degree angle, creating a very compact and adjustable connection.
Q: Do I need a special washer for the banjo bolt?
A: Yes, banjo fittings seal using a washer or bonded seal between the banjo body and the mounting surface. Our fittings typically come supplied with the necessary seal.
Q: What does "PH 06-02" mean?
A: "PH" indicates a Male Banjo Elbow. "06" means it's for 6mm OD tubing. "02" means the thread is 1/4".
