Features & Key Specifications of Our LPD Series:
Comprehensive Size Range:
We offer a full range of sizes to meet any application requirement, accommodating metric tube ODs of 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm, paired with thread sizes including M5, 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2".
360° Swivel Body for Easy Installation:
The swivel tee design allows the body of the fitting to rotate freely around the threaded stud. This allows you to tighten the thread first, then easily align the two tubing connections for the cleanest routing.
Universal Thread Availability (NPT, BSPP, BSPT):
To ensure global compatibility, all our LPD fittings are available in the three major international standards: NPT, BSPP (G), and BSPT (R/PT).
Instant Push-to-Connect Design:
Simply push the nylon or polyurethane tube into the two ports for an immediate, secure, and leak-proof seal.
Customization and OEM Options:
We offer custom colors for the release sleeve and can feature your company logo on the fittings to meet your OEM requirements (subject to MOQ).
Application Fields
The Essential Fitting for Creating T-Junctions:
Cylinder Connections: Creating a T-junction to supply air to another component while also connecting to a cylinder.
Valve & Manifold Plumbing: Branching off a single supply line to two different directions from a manifold port.
Creating Fixed Mounting Points: Using the central thread to anchor the tee to a panel or bracket, allowing two tubes to pass through.
Robotics & Automation: Designing compact and organized air distribution paths on automated equipment.
Technical & Selection Guide
Male Branch Tee (LPD) vs. Male Run Tee (LPB)
Understanding the difference is key to correct plumbing design:
Male Branch Tee (this LPD series): The male thread is at the bottom of the "T". The two tube connections form a straight line through the top.
Male Run Tee (LPB series): The male thread is on one end of the straight run. The second tube connection branches off at 90 degrees.
The swivel design of our LPD Male Branch Tee makes it incredibly versatile and easy to install in any orientation.
FAQ
Frequently Asked questions
Q: What does "PD 10-02" mean?
A: This is a standard industry code. "PD" indicates a Male Branch Tee. "10" means it is for 10mm OD tubing on both push-in ports. "02" means the thread is 1/4".
Q: Does the fitting swivel under pressure?
A: No. The swivel function is designed for easy positioning during installation. Once the system is pressurized, the fitting is designed to remain in its set position.
Q: I need a fitting for 16mm tube to a 1/2" port. Do you have this?
A: Yes, we offer a comprehensive range of sizes, including fittings to connect 16mm tubing to a 1/2" thread. Please refer to our product datasheet for the exact model number.
