Features & Key Specifications
Features & Key Specifications of Our Pulse Valves:
Ultra-Fast Response Time:
Engineered for rapid pressurization and venting, the valve opens and closes in milliseconds to deliver a sharp, powerful pulse of air for optimal filter bag cleaning.
High Flow, Low-Consumption Design:
The valve is designed to maximize air flow (high Kv) during the pulse, providing maximum cleaning power while minimizing compressed air consumption.
Multiple Valve Configurations:
We offer the industry-standard Right-Angle Pulse Valve for external pipe mounting, and the space-saving Submerged Pulse Valve for direct installation inside the air tank (manifold).
Exceptional Durability and Long Life:
Featuring a high-quality diaphragm and robust construction, our pulse valves are designed and tested for a service life of millions of cycles, ensuring long-term reliability.
Optional High-Temperature Models:
For dust collection systems handling hot gases from boilers, kilns, or furnaces, we offer high-temperature versions capable of operating in ambient temperatures up to 230°C.
Wide Range of Sizes:
Available in a full range of port sizes from 1/2" all the way up to 3", suitable for any scale of dust collection project.
Application Fields
The Essential Component for Air Pollution Control:
Baghouse Dust Collectors: The primary application, used in reverse-jet cleaning systems across all industries.
Cement & Concrete Production: Cleaning filter bags that handle abrasive cement dust.
Woodworking & Furniture: Removing wood dust from the air.
Grain & Agriculture: Dust control in silos and grain handling facilities.
Metal Fabrication & Welding: Capturing welding fumes and grinding dust.
Pharmaceutical & Chemical Powders: Handling fine powder collection.
Bulk Material Handling: Anywhere bulk powders are conveyed or processed.
Technical & Selection Guide
Right-Angle vs. Submerged: Which to Choose?
Right-Angle Pulse Valve: This is the most traditional type, where the valve is mounted externally and connected to the air tank and blowpipe via threaded pipes. It is easy to install and replace.
Submerged (Manifold Mount) Pulse Valve: This modern design has the valve mounted directly inside the compressed air tank. This eliminates the inlet pipe, reducing pressure loss and providing a slightly faster, more powerful pulse. It also creates a more compact assembly.
The choice depends on the design of your dust collector's air tank (manifold).
FAQ
Frequently Asked questions
Q: What is a pulse jet valve?
A: A pulse jet valve (or pulse valve) is a special type of diaphragm solenoid valve designed to deliver a very short, very powerful blast of compressed air. Its only purpose is to clean the filters in a dust collection system.
Q: Can I use a regular solenoid valve for this?
A: No, absolutely not. A regular solenoid valve is far too slow and is not designed for the high cycle rates and rapid pressure changes of a pulse cleaning system. You must use a dedicated pulse valve.
Q: How do I control the pulse valves?
A: Pulse valves are controlled by a special electronic timer or controller (a pulse controller). This controller sends sequential electrical signals to each valve in the system, telling it when to fire.
