When to Use a Bulkhead Fitting

A bulkhead fitting is essential whenever a pneumatic line needs to pass through a solid barrier. It provides a secure, sealed mounting point that prevents the tube from chafing against the panel edge and protects the connections from being pulled out or damaged.

Choose this SPK (Bulkhead Union) if: You need to connect a tube on both sides of the panel.

Choose an SPMF (Female Bulkhead) if: You need to connect a tube on one side and a threaded component on the other.
