Features & Key Specifications of Our Compression Fittings:
Available in 304 & 316 Stainless Steel:
Choose 316 stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance in marine, chemical, or pharmaceutical applications, or select 304 stainless steel for a high-quality, cost-effective solution for general industrial use.
Proven Double Ferrule Design:
The two-ferrule mechanism provides multiple sealing points, a strong tube grip, and excellent vibration resistance, ensuring a leak-tight seal from vacuum to high pressure.
A Complete Range of Configurations:
Our extensive catalog includes every component needed to build your fluid system, including:
Male & Female Connectors
Unions (Straight, Elbow, Tee, Cross)
Reducing Unions & Adapters
Caps, Plugs, Nuts, and Ferrules
Wide Size Availability:
We offer a full range of sizes for both metric tubing (from 4mm to 16mm OD) and imperial tubing, with thread sizes from M5 to 3/4" in NPT and BSP standards.
Easy and Reliable Installation:
These fittings are easy to install using standard tools, requiring no welding, soldering, or flaring. The mechanical design provides a reliable seal every time.
Application Fields
The Industry Standard for Critical Connections:
Instrumentation & Control Panels: Connecting sensors, transmitters, and analytical equipment with high-purity gas or liquid lines.
Chemical & Petrochemical: Safely conveying corrosive media in process lines and sampling systems.
Oil & Gas: A robust solution for hydraulic control lines, chemical injection, and instrumentation tubing.
Laboratory & Research: Building reliable, leak-free gas distribution systems for chromatography and other analytical setups.
Food & Beverage: Used in utility lines (air, water, CO2) where a secure, clean connection is required.
Technical & Selection Guide
304 vs. 316 Stainless Steel: Which is Right for You?
Choose 304 Stainless Steel for: Excellent corrosion resistance in most environments, ideal for general-purpose water, air, and food-related applications. It is the more economical choice.
Choose 316 Stainless Steel for: Superior corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides (saltwater), acids, and sulfur compounds. It is the required choice for marine, chemical, wastewater, and pharmaceutical applications.
How a Double Ferrule Fitting Works:
When the nut is tightened, the back ferrule advances and grips the tube, while the front ferrule advances into the fitting body, creating a primary seal. This dual action provides excellent resistance to vibration and thermal cycling.
FAQ
Frequently Asked questions
Q: What type of tubing should I use with these fittings?
A: Compression fittings are designed for use with metal tubing (like stainless steel) or semi-rigid polymer tubing (like Nylon or PTFE). The tubing material should be softer than the fitting material.
Q: Are these fittings interchangeable with brands like Swagelok® or Parker®?
A: Our fittings are manufactured to meet or exceed industry standards for design and performance. While they are designed to be a reliable alternative, intermixing components from different manufacturers is generally not recommended to guarantee a perfect seal.
Q: Can I reuse a compression fitting?
A: The fitting body and nut can be reused many times. The ferrules, however, are designed to deform and create a one-time seal on a specific piece of tube. If you disassemble the connection, it is best practice to use new ferrules to ensure a leak-proof reassembly.
