A straight union is the most fundamental tube-to-tube connection. The quick screw design of the SKNPU series is recommended over a push-in union when the application involves high pressure, high temperature, or significant vibration, as the tightening nut provides a much more secure grip on the tube.

Q: Can I connect two different tube sizes with this fitting?

A: No. The SKNPU is an equal union for connecting two tubes of the same size. For different sizes, you need a Union Reducer (our SKNPG series).

Q: How do I install it?

A: Push the tube firmly onto the internal barb on each side, then tighten the external nuts until snug, followed by a final quarter-turn with a wrench.
